Absolut Elyx | Copper Makes It Better Raspberry Mule

Entertaining is not something I always loved.

However, over the past few years, I’ve really come to enjoy hosting a little get together with friends. The whole planning process is so fun for me.  And I love nothing more than bringing a group of friends together over some delicious cocktails. Mules are always a hit, so today I wanted to share a recipe for a Raspberry Mules, using one of my favorite spirits, Absolut Elyx.

I aim for my cocktail parties to embody true hospitality, integrity, warmth, playfulness, and style. All the things Absolut Elyx stands for. With an entire Elyx Boutique filled with all things copper, it is easy to see how copper not only makes the vodka better, but also the atmosphere of any cocktail party.

Absolut Elyx is produced using winter wheat grown in one single estate in Southern Sweden. The whole production takes place within a 15 mile radius, giving them complete control of the entire process. This guarantees traceability and high quality vodka. Using a process call catalyzation, they achieve maximum contact with copper by using sacrificial copper. It is then further rectified using a vintage copper still from 1921 that is hand operated giving Absolut Elyx it’s celebrated rich silky mouthfeel and exceptionally smooth finish.

Anyone else craving a cocktail after that?! Here is the recipe for the Absolut Elyx Raspberry Mule. A drink that is both delicious and refreshing.

Ingredients:

3 parts Absolut Elyx

1 part Fresh Homemade Raspberry Cordial*

1 part Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice

Top Ginger Beer

Copper Mule Cup

Combine all ingredients in a copper mule cup over crushed ice, top with ginger beer and garnish with fresh raspberries.

Be sure to stop by the Elyx Bo.utique for all things copper, including timeless stemware and bartools. Or at the very least, treat yourself to some Absolut Elyx knowing that for every bottle sold in the USA a weeks worth of safe drinking water is donated to those in need through their partnership with Water for People.

Sounds delicious! And so festive with the red and green. I’ve never tried a mule before, but I think it is time I do so!
